Guided tours

The Red Tower of Pärnu holds the story of medieval Uus-Pärnu and the tower itself. However, navigating the narrow medieval tower with a group on your own can be quite challenging, and some of the stories  might be overlooked.

During a tour in the Red Tower, the tower is open to your group only. We kindly ask you to arrive on time.

The tower can hold approximately 20 people at a time, so for groups of 21-40, we recommend to book a parallel tour in the city or in our other museums. It is also possible to arrive in parts.

We will examine the model of the Red Tower to get acquainted with the tower’s history and construction, and take a peek at the medieval items on display. We will also give a brief overview of how the medieval town of Uus-Pärnu developed, and watch the animation 'In the Red Tower through 15,000 years' about the history of the region.
