VISITOR INFORMATION

Pärnu Museum's main exhibition is being rebuilt!
The musem will reopen on February 21, 2026.

The museum has two additional museum branches to further showcase the area's fascinating history and people:

The Red Tower
is the oldest surviving building in Pärnu and a former prison. The panoramic cinema on the attic floor takes visitors on a colorful journey through 15,000 years in ten minutes.

The Koidula Museum,
a former peasant school and the editorial office of the first Estonian-language newspaper, introduces the story of the Estonian Age of Awakening and the lives and activities of two important figures in Estonia - J. V. Jannsen and his daughter Lydia Koidula.

COMBINED TICKET

With a combined ticket, one of our museums is free for you!

The combined ticket gives you the opportunity to visit all three branches of the museum once during one year - the main building of the Pärnu Museum in Aida 3, the medieval Red Tower in Hommiku 11 and the Koidula Museum in Jannsen 37. You do not have to visit the branches on the same day.

The combined ticket is valid for visiting all exhibitions and events, which are included in the price of the museum ticket. A ticket cannot be used for special events (lectures, workshops, etc.) if a separate ticket has been established for them, and for group visits.
